The Village Grocery is a locally owned, locally staffed, one-stop-shop located smack in the middle of Hatteras Island in Avon, North Carolina. Love of everything food is evident. From the slogan “Food is Good” that greets customers as they enter, to the selection of mainstream, organic and specialty foods that line the aisles, to the reknowned “Wall of Beer” that boasts everything from the everyday to the exotic in macro and micro brews, customers know that they are in a special place.

The deli serves only Boar’s Head deli meats and cheeses; Certified Angus Beef is what the meat department is all about; produce is fresh and locally sourced whenever possible and the wine selection will enable even the neo-enophile to choose the perfect wine for their special dinner.
